Standing alone, tired and battered, holding on.

Doing what he does best Mr Bono Vox lends his weight and charisma to a Three Peak Challenge fundraiser to raise money for River of Life Uganda White Eagles Project. (A great charity supporting and educating children in Uganda and giving them the opportunity to fly high) With the help of “De Edge”, Bono writes a theme tune and shows us his personalised Three Peak training regime with the aim of inspiring the challenge team to fly high.
(This video is a collection of Bono’s bits from 4 longer charity videos so may make even less sense!)
The MON$T£R is out of control!! The people of Manchester contribute their art and messages on a day of open expression.
Sick of the consumerist obsession for shopping? Boxing Day 2011 saw people queuing to find deals from 6am!!!?? There’s a lot that could be said about this but we tried to sum up the feeling in a simple film.
On the 30th November 2011 thousands of people took to the streets of Manchester.
Many of us from the private sector marched in support of our public sector.
Surreal genius or profound nonsense? Le Placebo is an intensely powerful portrayal of one mans struggle to survive in the global recession created by a dysfunctional, unfair and greed driven system. This hard hitting piece asks why?, what?, when?, who?, if? but more importantly asks nothing. Or does it?
We went out for the day with a camera, a rope and pair of cowboy boots and used it as an opportunity to try out various of angles and shots as proof-of-concept and as a location reccy for the short film ‘Left Hangin’. This video is an edited montage of ideas and so doesn’t really have any narrative as such but does have some interesting visual tit-bits and sets the mood for the film. (The film ‘Left Hangin’ is currently on the back burner but will hopefully see daylight at some point 🙂 )
MANCHESTER cares with courage …

“Pay your taxes, greedy puppet$!”
“Fix banking, make $ick bank£rs pay!”
A theatrical day of protest outside Manchester’s Banks in defence of our NHS.
Light, compact, beautiful and invisible. The new iPhone Air for the first time allows you to really live the dream!
From the mania of the bunker, our makeshift studio, cobbled together from half finished samples comes the original soundtrack for the short film Re: Sturgeon or a Tale of Turner’s Ego. A musical journey through Turner’s mind…
Created as the soundtrack for a video promo for the graphic novel ‘Redemption.’
A little rough around the edges the soundtrack was created in an afternoon. (The day before submission day) We sat down in a kitchen with a laptop, a mic, a guitar, a Banjo and a sample of Mexican horns. What we created was a homage to the Western themed soundtrack with a Reggaeton twist.
A trailer for a graphic novel as part of an art degree…
Off the Meter and Unplugged is a country classic featuring the Phonix Monkey. (Another entry for AWTV) Recorded in a day in a living room with a video camera as a microphone, what this album lacks in production value, polish and competence it makes up for in it’s thought provoking commentary…
